HAHA yeah that would explain a lot
Sid Meier's Civilization V.
Path of exile.
this means alot high valued (hard) achievements
but i think its cause its a total boring game - everyone has it and noone playes
it's because of the system how you unlock the achievements... you have several achievements for each class at one time (i think it was like 10) . when you unlocked all of those 10 then you gain a level and get the next 10 achievements to unlock. and this takes a lot of time since they are not really easy to achieve in normal games unless you focus on them which probably would mean that you lose the game when you play with random people (furthermore the captain chooses the ship with his own modifications which means if he focuses on long range weapons you can't progress with the short range weapon achievements)... and because it's a very "social" game (most people wear headset with mic) you normally focus on winning ;)
Alien isolation:
Civ 5: So many
The most difficult games to 100%? A Walk in the Dark has a single achievement called Ninja Cat that I've tried some 5-10 times. It's very difficult to survive 100 levels without dying more than 10 times.
