My achievements, as well as my Average Game Completion Rate, are still linked to this game. I’m concerned that free games are counted and cannot be permanently removed.
• Help
• Steam Support
• at the end of the Site you can search for your game
• the last option should say something like "remove permanently"
• then remove it
If it is not in your library anymore, just look it up in the store and add it again.
What it does with your Avg. Game Completion I can't say for sure, but I guess it will still count like it does with any other game.
The updated stats will be visible to your friends and strangers alike. For you, however, they won’t change - but that’s both logical and a minor detail.
That's the only way. Steam updated its policy, and since this summer, free games are included in the counter, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
