Game doesnt want to count as 100%

Hello everybody. I have a problem with achievements in Estranged: Act I. I have 100% achievements in it but i don't have it counted in my 100% games. When i check achievements in my game list i still have 100% but when i go to global stats i see "you do not own this game" so i can't compare my achievements with others. Please help :|.

You are talking about astats? Run game for some more and/or try updating astats game page while running it.

as you can see i have 100% in this game, i own this game and the global statistics are saying that i do not own this game.

It looks like a bug with Steam. I also "own" it but on the global achievements it still states "You do not own this game".

Ok so how can i fix it? Few days ago everything was fine but now perfect games counter shows one less than it should.

Astats shows it almost correctly. The Astats profile I linked shows 48 games completed. The 9 games it does not show are:

Angels That Kill Demo
Blue Rose Demo
Carpe Diem
Cursed Sight Demo
HIS (Heroes in the Sky)
The Sad Story of Emmeline Burns
The Stanley Parable
Without Within 2 Demo
Written in the Sky

This is likely because the profile sometimes does not correctly track games that have been removed from the account (like demos or some free-to-play games). Also, Stanley Parable is not counted because you have Go Outside achievement that cannot be got in a legit fashion. Steam of course counts it all the same.

I checked that both the free-to-play and all the demo games are completed on your Steam profile, so something else is amiss. I don't think the problem lies with Estranged page, that most likely just shows the information wrong (i.e. is bugged) because it's a mod and therefore different from other game pages on Steam. While it's possible this is a genuine bug (in which case you should post a bug report to e.g. Steam Support or Steam Beta forums) it's seems more likely to me that one of your previously completed games has added or more unlikely reset some achievements and therefore no longer counts as 100% on Steam.

You can use this[astats.astats.nl] page to try and find if one of your games has added achievements. Or you can go through your previous perfected games one at a time.

Actually I just went through all your games through Astats' links. It appears that none of them have added, reset nor removed any achievements in your case.

It really should show you 57 (or more if your list is incomplete) perfect games on Steam. Your profile doesn't have that showcase though and I don't know whether the number can be seen from somewhere else.

Check my profile now. I have changed my showcase. It shows 56 and i think this is the problem with Estranged.

Okay, I see it (hopefully you had the huge list saved somewhere ).

As I said it is possible there's a problem with the game. I'm sorry but I can't help you further, since I've not played Estranged before. Usually the problem with losing perfect games is elsewhere but since others have had some library-related problems it's possible they are leaking to the showcase.

So, anyone else had the same problem?

I believe I had a similar problem with The Plan last year or the year before. I guess I'd removed it from my account, so it wasn't showing up as completed on astats. I re-installed and ran it, and that seemed to clear up the issue.

Strange. I don't seem to have an option to remove Estranged from my account, either, though I do for all the other free games I've played. Mine still counts as complete on astats, though.

Check your global stats where you compare it to the other people. Or from the shop page -> http://steamcommunity.com/stats/261820/achievements

Steam will only count a game as being owned if it has value, or rather a key to tie to your account. Additionally, it will count free games as being owned if you put money into them. (An example would being purchasing from the in game store, like in TF2 and Dota 2, or purchasing DLC.)

Regardless of ownership, Steam will count all achievements gotten on your account. Free games, free weekends, mods, demos, and family sharing all count towards your achievement showcase, despite you not actually owning the game(s.) You will have to actively track your progress if you want an accurate count of your achievements and perfect games. Take a look at my spreadsheet[docs.google.com] to see how I use three different methods to track my actual count. I'm planning on making a big topic to further explain.

But i want to have it right in my showcase, it worked before and then it dissapeared. Steam is not responding to my ticket..

Can you change your showcase so that you're displaying your achievement showcase? And give me a link to your astats profile. Do that and I'll look into it.
