After getting 100 completed games (130 atm), my goal shifted to raising the completion percentage to 80% (70 atm), an arbitrary number that tells me imo that i've done enough in the game to justify its purchase.
Funny thing is, after getting the game to 80%, after doing so much, i feel like since the 100% is so close, just a bit more grind or tries, and i can get to 100%.
the last game where that happened were van helsing 1 and 2, and now titanquest, that were sitting around 25% of achievements, and after getting them to 80%, its just feels right to get them to 100%, and the grind doesn't stop.
This way i'm usually working on about 3 games at a time, without feeling bored or like playing is a chore, this was my aproach to game swapping that was also affecting me, and so far i'm liking the results.
I hope my aproach helps to shed some light on it, good luck and stay safe fellow hunter
My advice for you: You should stop buying new games and complete all of your ones in the library. Golden rule for me: only buy games on the long-term, for example and this is what I do: buy games on Winter Sale that can last from there till Summer Sale, at max maybe buy one or two games inbetween, like new releases. This way it will create discipline and motivation till the next sales, a new goal that is to complete the games you bought in that time-frame.
Cheers
