Steam Achievement Manager and removing achievement, is it legal? Does it work?
So basically, I have 2 games with 1 achievement, they were supposed to be the only one, but then developer updated it. It understates my completion percentage, so I want to delete them. Can I use SAM for it? Is using SAM bannable? Will it even work, I mean will percentage rise?

No, you cannot use SAM, and you would most likely get banned for it.
It will also make the games count as 0% towards your agc. So if you remove those two achievements you're actually lowering your AGC.
Yes. But it marks your account. It will always be possible to scan it for that you used SAM. Even if you just removed something. Bannable is it in certain online-games like CS or Dota i suppose.

It won't increase your AGC at all. It might even lower it, since it'll count as 0% towards it.

In general, you shouldn't use SAM, although I don't know if it's legal per se, and I don't think anyone's ever been banned for it (from Steam, anyway, it's a bannable offense for this group AFAIK).

1) You most likely won't get in trouble on Steam unless you use it while connected to a VAC server. Otherwise, I don't think that there's any way for Steam to tell that you've used it, nor do I think they would care even if they did.

2) Resetting achievements doesn't affect your overall stats. Once an achievement is counted, the only way to get it removed is to contact Steam support and have the game totally wiped from your account. Refunding a game doesn't do it, however.

Yes, resetting achievements affects your stats if the achievements are removed from your profile. SAM can remove them, but it turns the game into a 0% and will lower your AGC% even if you can't see a change. It only will help on sites like Astats.

Steam support cannot remove a game from counting towards your AGC%. Trust me, many people asked back when the 0% bug was a thing and some devs removing all achievements from their games screwed up our profiles. With that bug being fixed, it is possible a dev removing all achievements from a game will remove it from counting, but if I remember right, the dev adding achievements back makes it count again. It only works like that because the game technically still counts, but the fix for the 0% bug doesn't include them in the calculation.
