What achievement sites do you use, if any?
I have used astats for a long time now. But I feel sort of cheated out of some of my accomplishments. War of the Roses and War of the Vikings had their servers shut down and the game removed from the steam store. I lost all my points for completing them and the achievements were basically invalidated.

The reason is to make sure the ladder hunting guys have the same available pool of games to work out of. As if thousands upon thousands of games aren't enough.

I paid for each of those games and have put in over 600 hours to 100% both of them.
All that's left are the icons. But they are outlined in red and the games appear as grey in my wall of completions.

Now that the venting is over, I'm looking for other sites. Any recommendations?

It seems so :(

Try https://completionist.me/

As of right now, there is no scoring - or even policing - system in place. It serves very well as a personal tracker for those who aren't interested in leaderboards and such.

Thanks trying it out now!

My initial impression of that site is fairly good so far. It pulled some stats from games that I've not seen before. Helpful when you are working on counter or progress achievements. Sometimes steam has the counters, but other times it's hidden.

In my case I was able to see how far I've progressed on an achievement that doesn't have a visible counter. So that was nice!

It doesn't seem to recognize broken achievements which was one of my initial draws to astats. I posted about it on the completionist page so I'm interested to here back from the Dev on that.
Tough luck. My TF2 achievements are all marked as invalid, because of some achievements from 2010 that for some reason (I guess Steam being Steam) have the same timestamp. And no, I didn't cheat them, but hey, it's my word against AStats, and since it's been so damn long, I can't really make a solid case. At least I got them to unmark my profile (used to be marked as a cheater).

Did you 100% it? I thought I looked at that game once and it seemed like a lot of work to complete. I almost feel I should say I'm sorry for your loss :D

Nah, but I'm at around 80%. 421 achievements. From what I guess, that timestamp mess was probably caused by my Internet connection being really crappy at the time. After all, I also remember that I got an achievement in the original Portal (the one for knocking a turret out with another turret), it registered and all, and a few days later it disappeared (that is, Steam didn't recognize it as achieved, while the game did). I could only get that achievement to register when I got a new computer and replayed the game.

When it comes to leaderboards Astats is frankly the best while completionist.me is hands down the best personal tracker. Be that as it may as far as leaderboard tracking there is;

achievementstats.com ~very slow, updates often fail, layout is actually worse than Astats imo, splits dlc into seperate entires unlike astats, after Astats seems to have the highest population of users on the leaderboards

truesteamachievements.com ~ better layout than above, updates have always worked, low population which isn't ideal for leaderboards, splits dlc into separate entries, has many different leaderboards and statistics available, seems to be lax or slow on removing cheaters

metagamerscore.com ~updates work fine, layouts ok, combines achievements in multiple platforms (Kongregate, some MMO's etc etc) if into that, also very low population

exophase.com ~ leaderboard is only via # of achievements, rather than achievements having points, not many features, extremely low Steam population

That's all I am aware of.

is there any tracking site who have a good and nice gamercard like psnprofiles for braging in other forum besides exophase???
Hymnos Apr 1, 2017 @ 3:29pm
Well for me astats gamercard look so bland and poor design....you can't customize the background and the achievement like in exophase

i built a gamercard lib for AStats quite a while ago in response to an inquiry to help with designs: https://cards.completionist.me/
one can fiddle around with size and contents by clicking on "Card Settings & Data" (testing data only) some of the presets are heavily inspired by psnprofiles (which has the best cards of all time imo)
these are not in yet but i'd love to contribute these
(the base library used is open source as well https://github.com/completionist/vanity)

hi, i have a short question about synching completionist.me: i see that this site doesn't give the complete number of my achievements and it is likely related to the free or family sharing games. but is there any simple way to get from the site the list of games with >0% achievements, so that i could even manually review it and find the missing games? otherwise it appears to be quite time consuming to open every game where i have the achievements on completionist.me.
