Is it possible to see if you have achievements from a refunded game?
I refunded No Man's Sky back when it came out, and only recently got into the 100% achievements thing. I also recently found out that refunded game achievements are still on your account and counting towards the average. I want to find out if i did manage to get any achievements on No Man's Sky so i know if i have to buy (and play) it again or not.

If you refunded it before the achievements got added, then I doubt they're on your account as they would have never been triggered to unlock.

do you happen to know when those were added?

The oldest ones were added in August, according to Astats

On the store page for the game, you can see an achievements section on the right side. If you click "view all" achievements, you should be able to see if you have any achievements unlocked.

Either way, I wouldn't worry too much about the game affecting your average. For many achievement hunters, achieving a 100% AGC is impossible due to broken achievements (and I don't really think it's a good goal anyway), and if it matters to you, you'll still be able to earn an impressive AGC, it'll just take a bit longer.

Also, if it were me, I'd rather sacrifice my ability to earn 100% AGC than pay for No Man's Sky.

Achieving 100% AGC it's not imposible as long you avoid the games that have broken achievement :pug:

If you've already played a game with broken achievements there isn't really anything you can do about it, which is what I was referring to. I didn't say it was completely impossible, I said it was impossible for many achievement hunters.

I am not sure, but when i go there it says "You do not own this game" but when i go to a game i own, it says you own # out of # of this games achievements. So i am not sure what to think.

you need to buy that game again if you want to complete the achievement or if you don't want to buy it again then you can ask your friends who have that game you already refunded to do family share with you so you can have access to that game again without buying it for temporarily.

i have similiar case with this when 1st time trying became achievement hunter hahahah i refunded ff 13-2 because that game is a bad port but i'm already got 1 achievement on that game and i thought when refunded the game the achievement will get removed and will not count toward average but i was wrong ahahahaha.
after that i want to complete that ff 13-2 achievement for getting my 100% AGC but i don't want to buy ff 13-2 again because it was not in sale then i'm asking my brother to do family share with me because he still have that games on his steam account so i can get access once again to that games.

Have you tried checking on astats? For games I don't own, I can't access the achievements on Steam, but I can see them on astats.

This is what it tells me:

Kokomo24 Steam reports, you do not own this game.
0 of the 27 achievements. (27 to go.) (0 Percent)
0 of the 0 points.

Could you post a screenshot of it telling you that you both own the game and that you have achievements in it, i need to know for certain that i don' need to rebuy and play No Man's Sky.

I can't seem to connect to astats right now so I can't verify this, but I'm reasonably sure that this means you have no achievements in this game.

Yeah, that is more than likely the case, but i just really need to be 100% sure.

Do you actually intend to buy No Man's Sky again if you happened to earn any achievements in it (asking this as a serious question)? If so... why? If you're just trying to get your AGC up, you can do that a lot less painlessly by playing something you already own (or by spending the money on games that you'll actually enjoy).
