Omg, this so "nice" from you. First 1C rushed "Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones" development, and made developers to cut out 1/2 or 2/3 of their game. Now they didn't let developers to finish their game, and stole their game-universe.. And no-name developer is making "Stygian: Outer Gods". You guys are thieves...

Set in the same world as the other Stygian game... is that a good idea?

Not to say the Stygian world is bad, but basing this game on a game that never finished development and doesn't have a proper ending, that spat in the face of all of it's kickstarter backers. Are you sure you want to base this off of that? It wouldn't hurt to just use a new lovecraftian world, would certainly be better than to release a game with that stigma stuck to it....
