Would like to have some insight into how this achievement works. Here's what I tried: After escaping the hospital, I opt for the police station to get the handgun early. I stand my ground in the station till my character gives out a sigh of relief. Do the same for the monster that appears in the hotel. I fend off the first monster on the streets, all the same. I go in and out of church and find another one around and kill that one too. Then the spiders and the hand in the power plant. Stats scree...

I'm trying to understand what is happening in the beginning of the game. There's a black door and it's locked. There's 3 rooms we can go into - all of them appear to have hospital beds. There is something laying in one of the rooms that's white and green. I can't pick it up no matter what I do but it's the only thing out of place in any of the rooms.
