I was considering buying this but saw that the original release did some weird localization decisions surrounding any gendered language, some cursing, and making a few things sillier than they initially were. I read that for this PC port, there was an editing pass. Was any of that fixed? Is there a fan translation?...

Otherwise I see no real point in buying an inferior version

I don't usually buy R18 games ANYWAY, but knowing that this trilogy used to be that way, I'm wondering how well they adapted the story to fit with any missing bits (pun intended).

I don't speak, or read Japanese. Just your average neck-beard weeb who's picked up on a few words in his many hours of anime. Already five~ish minutes into the game, and I'm reading sentence that doesn't seem to match with what's being said in Japanese. It's not a big deal to me, but I'd like to know if these translations change the context of the original story in any significant way, or is the core of the story and the characters still intact?...
