So, there wasn't any updates here for a couple of years. Is the game still in developmen? It'd be really great to get it. Also, please consider a sequel for The Treehouse Man.

This is not asked negatively. I know Hunchback Games is essentially a one-man operation. Combine that with 2020 being 2020, and it's well understood. I just figured I'd throw the question out.

Based on the trailer it seems like it's neither stuck as a mere repeat of the first game, mor does it abandon what made the first game work. What's funny is despite some of the changes in monsters and mythology, one little thing stands out: In-air weapon use! I can't wait until this is released....
