The Difficulty/Rubber-banding in Xenon Racer is enough to be turned off the game, and I'm only up to Race #3... You can overtake the whole pack by a couple of turns in, but from then on in, no matter how well you race, if you get overtaken, you're done. Difficulty was the main complaint in the reviews I read. In patch notes, devs said they reduced the difficulty. Is it enough to have fun, at least? Or difficulty still insane even after fixes?

I'm no stranger to driving/racing games and drift racing is my favourite style. So I have a clue how a driving game should work based on experience. I'm in first place, hit a recharge, use it, hit another, use it, start driftng around a corner and my line is okay. Could be better, but it's okay. And the second AI car doesn't just edge past, it goes round the inside of the corner like it's on rails. What? I hit another recharge and an AI passes me. I hit another, sue it and the AI car keeps getting furth...
