With so many positive reviews, I thought this would be a nice hidden gem, but I was sadly disappointed.

It's pretty much impossible to go into this without knowing there's some sort of twist, but I managed to avoid spoilers successfully.

The events unfold at quite slow pace with a fair bit of grinding in between but nothing unusual for a VN of this type and I got strung along the mystery and happenings, trying to figure out the twist.

Unfortunately, the twist turned out to be the first foreshadowed thing that I thought was so obvious that it had to be a red herring, especially when later on, there were some hints of potentially much more interesting direction for the narrative to go through. But then I got to the end and no, nothing special, just the first obvious thing, that's it. Really feels like tremendously wasted potential.
