Careful now, Keep an ear out for anyone who friends you & opens up with something similar to = I'm sorry, I made a mistake. = paired with = I need to talk to you. =

Report these accounts, don't trust new accounts (below 10-15), and Never blind join any external Chat application link from ANYONE you don't know prior or trust with valid reasons.

Remember, Valve don't give a **** about you, & will never use anything other than your phone/email to alert you to a problem.
Remember, Valve does not have customer service agents on anything but email & a highly restricted Phone number, along with the publicly visible twitter interfaces.

It's kinda sad & cute how the language changes.

Always remember Valve has 100% access to everything you do, all your trades, & your logins. No false report (with your account activity) will lead to anything. Insist on Official channels only if you can't 'risk' it not being fake.

Scam Alert - Heads Up

Yo Yo, This is a me "DePhoegon" from the trading group
i got a warning & heads up you should pass around.

There is account scamming going around, and attempting to get someone onto 'discord' and talk about an your account.

Atm it's being phrased as 'accidentally reported your profile'.if you could help to bring some awareness onto this, as the influx of Discord viruses & script kiddie setups is getting nasty.

1. Valve doesn't need to friend you to talk to you about your account.
2. Valve has access to most details in your account profile.
3. Valve Does not use discord to handle issues.

This is warning.. DISCORD script kiddie attacks are on the rise.
If possible.
1. Seperate Discord Installations into VMs, or onto another device (such as a phone, as most script kiddie stuff hits windows or linux)
-- if you've had chats with unknown people in discord (and even explictedly so if it was about steam or your account)
2. https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
=Use Two Factor authentication.
= Deauthorized All other devices
3. verify Your account history.. purchases, trades.

For now.. Stay safe.. and 'Don't Panic'
