Just as speculation works with the stock, this group is for everyone who wants to join and learn about how to speculate in the Steam Community Market. This action requires a lot of time, patience, page refreshing abilities, practice, and decision.

By speculating, you can earn Steam money easily!


-Q: How do I speculate?
-A: Speculating is a buying/selling method used to earn money: The price of any item in the Market is very variable with the time, and can decrease from $0,90 to $0,43 in a matter of minutes! But the same happens when it can increase from $0,43 to $0,90.

By the way, it can also take days or weeks for this to happen, you can guess how the price is going to behave by checking the item's price graph.

Example: "If I see that an item has been decreasing its price for 5 hours, and in the graph, it shows that aprox. when it hits $0,30 it increases again to aprox. $0,60 due to the buyers, I will decide if I buy the item or not, if I think that the price won't decrease anymore, but if you wait for it to decrease too much, it can go back up in a matter of seconds (Compulsive random buyers).
So it's your decision if the price you're buying the item at the time will be the lowest possible, before it increases again.
Now, I have bought the item and have it in my inventory, so I'm going to go check the Market daily (Depending on the time shown in the graph that will take for the item to increase its price notably), or every hour, minute, or keep refreshing if it's increasing already.
I will wait and decide what will be the highest price, until it decreases again, to sell the item I bought much more cheaper the other day/hour/week...
And that will give me a certain benefit that will be usually of $0,20 or $0,30 if the item is normally under $1. (If you speculate with high priced items, it's way more risky in the case of a price drop due to insertion of newer items that will make this one worse or less wanted)."
