Best pirate game I have ever played. Loved everything about it, except for the lag issues that would occasionally occur. Miss the PvE trading events back in the day, when most of the PvE community would gather on an island for trading, events, even ship building contests. I never did any of the end game since I had so much fun just existing in the world they created.

Then the seasonal wipes started happening, which chased away a large portion of the community as this is a grindy game. I understand the wipes had to happen for the devs to repair some coding issues but man they were a bummer.

Now there hasn't been an update in nearly a year. I assume abandoned by the developer. It's a real shame too. They had something really special here but just couldn't dial it in. I will continue to revisit this game from time to time as long as the servers are up, in hopes that this game will return to it's former glory.

Marking my view as recommended purely out of love for this game, and what it once was.

This game was going to be the best pirate game ever. Its potential and the things you could do especially when it was announced comparing to what the gamer's needed was the best. We had a lot of fun and even now that its over i could still have some fun. The condition of the game now and the developers who completely abandoned it makes a very sad story. RIP Atlas. You will always be in my heart. 1700 hours of my life was spend here.
