ontroller issues (generic USB gamepad)-works for other STEAM games

I have a generic PS4-looking USB gamepad, It will not work for this game but works in other Asymetric VR games (DIner DUo etc). I am only able to play with one person (at keyboard) as the game pads do not respond :/ If I buy an Xbox one wireless controller adapter, would that be supported? ...

Room space requirements are too much

I feel that this game requires a room space much larger than what I have available. Granted, mine isn't a lot, but I rarely have issues with other games. Also I feel the whole "punch down" mechanic could make me break the controllers, I have already hit them against objects. I like the concept and though technically it's REALLY rough, I thought the concept was a great idea. Now I'm thinking about returning it. Edit: After all this time playing the game, I must say it's easy to play in a smallish space, ...

I tried this game when I first got my Index, but it was just too unpolished to play with a group of friends. Is this game still being worked on? When do you plan to have your next update release?
