Hey everyone!

In case you haven’t noticed, the game launches on September 16th! With release just around the corner, here’s a quick update on what we’ve been working on.

Most of our testing has been done on Steam Deck, and we’ve put plenty of work into optimizing the game to hold a smooth 60 FPS. There’s also full gamepad support, so you can settle in and get comfortable!

The official Steam Deck compatibility badge may take a little longer to appear. However, you can buy with confidence knowing we’ve extensively tested the game and built it to play smoothly on the hardware.

We also have a couple of content updates to share. Unfortunately, the storyline has been postponed and won’t be included at launch. Sauropods have also been replaced by non-dinosaurian creatures, but we plan to introduce a dedicated sauropod room in a future update, giving these giants the space they deserve to truly shine.

We’re still hard at work squashing bugs and polishing things up before launch. Meanwhile, the cat in the picture has done everything in his power to stop us from doing any of the above. Despite his best efforts, we’re getting there.

We’ve also managed to squeeze in Simplified Chinese support for launch, with more languages to come!

We’re currently working hard to reach our "Content Complete" milestone. Here is where things stand and what’s coming next:

The game currently features 10 culture rooms and 1 dinosaur room. Over the next few weeks, we plan to expand this to 12 culture rooms and 4 dinosaur rooms, reaching our "Content Complete" milestone.

We are working on adding a light narrative to accompany the core cleaning and sorting gameplay. This feature is currently in ideation, with plans to finalize and polish it throughout September.

Once we hit content complete, we plan to spend at least a month playtesting to ensure the game meets expectations. October will be dedicated to bug fixing, balancing, and overall polish.

Full gamepad compatibility is already implemented, but we are striving to secure official Steam Deck Verification and full Steam Achievements in time for launch day. If we can’t hit that Steam Deck milestone by launch, we aim to deliver it within our first month after release.

Our launch date is getting closer. We are targeting a November release window (watch out GTA!), though the official date remains unannounced for now.
