I have over 40GB downloaded content in 453170. I wouldn't want to download all this again, and Steam wouldn't want to send all this to me again, too. I think.
Most of the stuff I clearly want to keep.
I always loved how Destinations and the large scale user generated content was seperated from everything else (360° images, Controller skins...) from SteamVR.
But I guess it makes things easier and simpler in the future.
