Patch 26 is the final demo update before launch next week. The demo will be taken down at launch.

What's new in Patch 26

Reworked Controller Aim - Huge improvements to controller aim, including aim assistance and improved sensitivity curves and damping.
Performance Improvements - Major optimizations allow the game to run smoothly even on old potato computers! (Try low graphics mode for those)
Full Localization - Play the game in 8 different languages! English, Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, French, German, and Korean
Improved Enemies - Improved animations and fixed them all attacking at the same time.
Improved Speedometer - Speed now multiplies damage AND attack/reload speed. Adjusted the rate of speedometer depletion so it's easier to maintain speed.
Dozens of bugfixes and improvements.

Hotfix: Next Fest Feedback

Hey heroes! Quick patch to address major feedback from Steam Next Fest so far. Have fun!

What's new in Patch 25

Made it easier to store and maintain speed, even after hitting walls or changing directions
Added support for rebinding mouse buttons (including side buttons, scroll wheel, left/right)
Improved speed calculations of grapple, slide, rail grind, and wall run
Added 2 second cooldown to enemy leaper leap attack
Slowed down Johnny Jetpack projectile attacks in first 2 phases
Reduced assault rifle fire rate 8 -> 7
Reverted to old fiery vertical speedometer (and made it bigger)
Fixed a couple sounds not respecting sound volume
Fixed challenges from challenge orbs displaying incorrect progress
Fixed grappling to walls in city survival arena

Hey heroes! 👋 Steam Next Fest is here.

Salaar here! I'm the solo developer of Gunstoppable and an ex-God of War developer.
Patch 25 brings a major update, big news, and a milestone worth celebrating!

Major Update: Reworked the demo with a brand new level, a full leaderboard reset, and many community-requested improvements.
News: Gunstoppable launches August 5th. Wishlist now for the launch discount!
Milestone: We just hit 7,000 Wishlists. The grind is paying off, and I can't thank you enough.

What's new in Patch 25

Brand New Level - Start Fenix's journey in a new underwater prison. The demo skips past the rest of the underwater facility, but rest assured, tons of new content is coming to the full game.
Leaderboard Reset - Compete to be the most unstoppable player in the world.
Improved Movement Feel - Added juicier animations when jumping and landing.
Better Ragdoll Physics - Enemies are properly launched on death, grapple to their robo-corpses.
Improved UX - Faster load times, new speedometer, smoother speed lines, better post-run screen, more descriptive upgrades, and cleaner HUD.
Dialogue Volume - Added setting to adjust dialogue volume separately from other sounds.
Dozens of bugfixes and improvements.

Art Direction??

I like that the game is trying to do its own thing but as of now the UI, The environment and weapon deign are too far apart in some aspects they feel like you are playing a different game. The cell shading looks fine on the environment but feels so weird on the guns. The Animations need a lot more work specially the katana it feels so underwhelming...

Key rebinding

I would like it if extra mouse button support was added (forwards and backwards currently do not work). Would be extra cool if you could add actual graphics for the special keys (Ctrl / end / del etc) because right now it's all "?".

Honestly, this is a well made but badly designed game. It feels good to play, but every single design decision made, both techically and artistically, is wrong. You guys are clearly good developers, but you need better vision. *The game would work much better with proper level design and some sort of linear, story driven progression, instead of being a roguelite wave shooter.
