We’re thrilled to announce that NUTMEG! is officially Steam Deck verified, from launch on March 26! For those who are not in the know, this means NUTMEG! is fully functional on Steam Deck out of the metaphorical box, without needing tactical tweaks and strange philosophies. Those can be left to the matches themselves!

Demo - Is it possible to have Blackburn promoted?

I definitely don't want to fall under the 'mad because bad' category but I wondered if anybody has been able to get Blackburn promoted on the demo, or even win the league! I've played through the demo 3 times with different approaches and my televised games go reasonably well but I find the delegated games are so unpredictable, and the % indicators for formation/tactic do not seem to be representative. We recently sat down with Secret Mode’s Chief Publishing Officer, James Schall, as well as Game Director of NUTMEG! Jacob Habgood, Development Director Kari Koivistoinen, and a special guest in former Chelsea and Oxford winger Peter Rhoades-Brown to talk about what makes NUTMEG! special and how the game has encapsulated the feeling and nostalgia of 80’s and 90’s football.

Manually Selecting Starting Roster

I might be missing something here, but is there a way to pick the specific 13 players you want in your starting 11 and bench before a game? I try to click on the roster on the board, but that just brings me to the card binder. There, I can suggest players I'd like to prioritize starting, but then I'm down to the game's AI determining who to put where (which I'd have more faith in if I didn't lose multiple games because it subbed out my goalkeeper for a defender). I feel like I've got to be missing somethin...

Can't start the game.

I've downloaded the demo on my laptop, and the demo isn't responding every time I launch. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall, and I've done this for over four hours. I'm just glad this was the demo so I didn't spend any money.
