Did you watch it until the end...? GOOD, because...

The Witch's Bakery is going mobile! 📱

You saw that right! The Witch's Bakery is also coming soon to iOS and Android via Crunchyroll Game Vault! We are so excited to be bringing our magical adventure to even more players and we can't wait to share more details with you soon! 💕

Before You Buy

With launch day practically right around the corner, we know so many of you are getting ready to step into Lunne’s shoes and start a grand Parisian adventure! To make sure you’re ready for day one, we’ve put together a "Before You Buy" guide answering all your top questions - and more!

Grab a warm cup of hot chocolate, settle in, and let’s get into everything you need to know before you buy The Witch's Bakery 🥐✨

What to Expect - Story First! 📖

Before we dive into the most frequently asked questions, we really want to highlight what kind of game The Witch's Bakery is! While you will be spending time in the atelier baking delicious treats and serving in the bakery, the central heart of the game is its story, its characters, and Lunne and her friends' journey in Paris. The Witch's Bakery is a narrative-driven adventure that is much more reminiscent of visual novels. The gameplay is simple and approachable, designed to complement the narrative rather than challenge the player. We hope you’ll enjoy getting to know Lunne and her friends, and discovering their stories along the way!✨

What is the release date? (Digital & Physical)

Digital editions of The Witch's Bakery will launch on 14th October 2026!

If you're looking to pick up a physical copy, those will release just two days later on 16th October 2026.

Mobile version coming soon, stay tuned for more updates!!

What's the Release Time?

How long will the game be?

Depending on your playstyle and reading speed, a full playthrough takes around 20 to 25+ hours ^^

Does it have multiplayer or a co-op mode?

The Witch's Bakery is a purely single-player, story-focused experience.

How do I report bugs or issues after release? 🐛

If you encounter any bugs or issues during your play through Paris, please let us know by posting directly in the Steam Discussions. Before posting, please check to see if the issue has already been reported, this helps us track and fix things as quickly as possible. We’ll be working on fixes straight away and we would like to thank you for your patience - as a small team, we will do our best to release patches as soon as they are ready! ^^

Will the game have any romance options? 💖

While you can form deep, meaningful friendships with a wide cast of characters, only one can capture Lunne's heart! Depending on your narrative choices, you will be able to romance Estelle, whom you first meet in Chapter 2... but how your story together unfolds is for you to discover!

What platforms will the game release on?

You will be able to play The Witch's Bakery on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, XBOX, Nintendo Switch & Nintendo Switch 2 🎮

Will the game be available on Mac or mobile stores?

We're very happy to confirm that The Witch's Bakery will launch on iOS and Android mobile via Crunchyroll Game Vault! However, the release will come later than the launch on PC and Consoles this October. More details about the mobile launch date will come soon! ^^ Aside from our upcoming release on Crunchyroll Game Vault, we won't be able to launch a version on Mac. However, we'd love to bring the game to more platforms in the future if there's enough demand after initial launch!

How much will the game cost?

The Witch's Bakery will be available at £16.99 / $19.99 / €19.99. The launch discount for digital stores will be 10% across all platforms!

Will the game have adjusted regional pricing?

Yes, The Witch's Bakery will have regional pricing. We try to calculate this by analysing currency conversion, similarly priced games and platform suggestions. We also try to account for local economy and inflation. We know platform suggestions aren't always up to date, so for key territories, we will also work with local partners. We will try to keep pricing fair and realistic so we are as accessible to as many players as possible.

How many languages will the game be translated into?

You will be able to enjoy the game in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), and Simplified Chinese.

Where can I pre-order the physical versions of the game?

You can pre-order physical editions on PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 (Game Key Card) through Silver Lining Direct[direct.silverliningint.com] or via your local retailers!📦

Do you use Generative AI in development?

No. The Witch's Bakery does not use any generative AI. The team at Sunny Lab is extremely proud to work with and support so many incredible human artists and creators to bring this world to life! 🎨❤️

Thank you so much for your love and support! We hope this little FAQ provides a good overview of what you can expect from The Witch's Bakery ^^ If you do have any questions - please let us know and we're happy to answer! ^^ Wishing you all a wonderful sunny day and see you very soon in Paris! ☀️❤️

Until then... Stay magical! ✨

Bonjouur again bakers! 🥐

As you saw in our previous update, we are hard at work putting the finishing touches on The Witch's Bakery! But for a moment, we want to look back to February 2026. We had just released our demo and were waiting patiently, reloading the Steam page to see all your feedback. And that feedback... was overwhelmingly positive! 🥹

You've shared your thoughts, raised bugs you encountered and suggested great QoL changes & features. We can't thank you enough, you've contributed to The Witch's Bakery and made the full game an even better experience. 💕

Demo takedown

As you saw in the title, you will be able to play the demo up until the 25th of September.

Why are we taking it down?

Since the demo was released nearly 7 months ago, our entire team has been pouring their hearts into putting the final touches on the full game. Because of how much it has grown since then, that build no longer accurately reflects the experience we are preparing for launch day!

To deliver the best possible quality, we’re putting all our energy into final polish rather than releasing a new demo version. 🫶

Thank you for your patience!💕

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being on this magical journey with us. Your support means the world to our small team and we absolutely cannot wait for October!

Until then... Stay magical! ✨

The Witch's Bakery

Hello September🥐

Sep 14

Bonjouuuuur Bakers! 🥖✨

The countdown is officially ON: we are ONE MONTH AWAY FROM RELEASE, AAAAAH!! 🎉🎉

The excitement at Sunny Lab is through the roof and we are putting the final golden glaze on everything before launch day! ^^

We're all so very excited for October - knowing you’re all cheering us on makes every single moment worth it :D

Gamescom Was Incredible! 🎮❤️

A BIG thank you to everyone who dropped by the Indie Arena Booth last month!

Meeting so many of you in person, hearing your words, and seeing your faces, while playing was the ultimate boost for our team. It was a very busy busy week, but you made it truly unforgettable!

Artbook Sneak Peek

Behind the scenes, we’ve also been working on the official Artbook!

It’s been a great nostalgia trip to dive back into our archives and revisit all the early research, original sketches, and world-building that brought Paris and our bakery to life ^^

We really want to thank you by making something special, something that truly reflect the journey we’ve been on. And that’s why it’s taking us a little longer than a simple collection of images would. We want this book to be more than just a traditional artbook. We want it to tell the story of our entire journey as a studio and of the game itself, from the very first idea all the way to its release.

Here’s a cheeky little look at some of the early art and references:

More coziness in the Atelier! ✨

We have reworked Lunne's atelier - now you can see your chosen customised bakery also at night when you're baking delicious recipes! ^^

Here's a few options!

New Loading Screen!

Now, you'll be able to hang out with little chibi Lunne and Orio during loading times! ^^

Ahead of October

Our dear Bakers - we're so close to release it feels unreal!

Because of this, it is getting more and more challenging to update you on our work without spoiling certain parts of Lunne's story... ;)

With this in mind, we look forward to the launch, and we sign off on our final update ahead of the release. Thank you all for following along. We hope you will truly fall in love with Lunne and her world.

To keep it short and sweet - see you in October! ^^

Until then... Stay magical! ✨

Inquiring about Korean localization

Hello, I really love this game and want to recommend it to more people in Korea. Currently, the lack of Korean language support makes it hard for many Korean players to access. If you have any plans for Korean localization, please let us know! Also, if you need help with community translation or proofreading, I (and the Korean fan community) would love to support you. Thank you for your hard work!...

Switch 2: Cartridge or Download?

Apologies if I missed the info being listed somewhere, but is the Switch 2 physical release a full/on-cartridge game or does it the game key/game key type? I have it wishlisted on Steam, but if I can get a traditional cartridge, I'll be putting in a pre-order ASAP. Thank you!...

Please add the Russian localization of your game.

We would really like to see the Russian language in the game, because your work looks incredibly cute and interesting. therefore, if you add it, we will be happy, I think you will be able to reach a fairly large audience (we are very fond of the same Coffee Talk and similar games, I think people will be interested in yours)...
