Hey Ladies and Lords!

We have been hearing your feedback on our demo and we had over 600 feedbacks filled in our feedback form.

There is a lot of actionable things to do there and we want to make sure the release will blow your socks away. We initially were planning on releasing our game around mid-March. But the feedback you gave was so to the point, we realized many things we can improve upon. This is why we decided on a release date of April 28th, 2025!

Even though the demo has a restricted amount of content, we can do better with more content on the release and more QoL improvements, pointed out by many nice and deep reviews we got!

on mac the f1 +control isnt working for grouping

On my macbook pro it doesnt work to make groep of soldiers because de f1 button is with the fn button. and you have to have control also to press. so it doesnt work. i cant pass the first 3 days of the first lv because of it.

First of all, thank you for playing Kingdom’s Deck and for sharing your valuable feedback through the feedback form. Your input is helping shape the game, and I’m excited to reveal some of the amazing new features coming in the full release!

New Cards, New Strategies

Get ready to expand your tactical options! You can expect new buildings, powerful spells, and game-changing tools. Some cards will provide resource boosts, while others will require you to take calculated risks, like trading resources for short-term advantages or using spells with thrilling, unpredictable outcomes.

Unique Units and Fierce Enemies

The battlefield is about to get even more exciting! I’m adding unique units to your army, each with their own strengths and abilities, offering more variety in combat. Whether you're deploying ranged attackers or heavy melee soldiers, every unit will play a critical role in your defense. But beware: new and terrifying enemies are on the way, bringing more intense battles that will challenge your strategies. The war for your kingdom will be tougher than ever, but with new allies at your side, you’ll be ready for anything!

New Scenarios and Game Modes

Prepare to defend your kingdom across brand-new scenarios and maps! These new locations will introduce different enemy attack routes, requiring you to adapt to new environments and tactics. Whether it’s defending a narrow pass or protecting multiple fronts, these scenarios will test your strategic skills. Additionally, new difficulty levels and game modes will be added, how long can you hold out against waves of increasingly tougher enemies?

Improved Controls and Quality of Life Enhancements

We’ve heard your feedback on unit management, and we’re making improvements! Expect smoother controls for better troop management and enhanced UI for greater clarity and readability throughout the game.

Balancing and Level Design

One of my top priorities is ensuring that the game’s progression feels fair but challenging. We’re refining the pacing of both daytime building and nighttime battles to eliminate sudden difficulty spikes and smooth out the learning curve. Levels will be more balanced, providing a better flow as you advance, ensuring that each victory feels well-earned and satisfying.

Its a bit ....boring?

Im waiting timers for something to happen. The game goes for a card mechanic for no actual reason. I get no agency on myself, as theres a day timer that clocks down, meanwhile i wait for another timer to offer me exactly one thing to build, sometimes not even that when my two card choices are resources or resource and unit. I cant do anything with buildings really and for some reason the dev thought adding passive buildings on top would make this a more fun idle game, as thats what it is at its core. The ...

just a FEW bugs in the demo

ill start that thread : - lack of translation ( its easy, not a truckload of text to translate ) - screen resolution support ? ( no 32:9 option ? bigger screens ? smaller buttons ? ) - terrible loading time on fast SSD drives ... - only 2 cards to choose from ( purposefully a wrong one appears first, NO RANDOM seen here ... ) - no walls - no citizens are working, only empty buildings ? not a single buildings are working ?...
