I have a very hard time recommending this game. As others have stated: there's zero depth to this game. After about ~2 hours, you've seen everything the game has to offer. From there, it's "number only go up". I've even checked achievements half way through to see if there's any ascendancy or something to keep me going, but no. Let me explain the entire game to you:

You start off mining rocks on top of the map. You balance upgrading moose speed, carrying capacity, saw speed, and saw damage. When you upgrade any of these, you won't notice any difference what-so-ever in game play or resources gathered - by all accounts, they're just numbers.

After 10,000 resources gathered, you unlock logging trees, which is the bottom half of the map. You split your workers about 50/50 on this, though wood is (temporarily) more rewarding, all the while upgrading the four above-mentioned resources that you still won't see any difference with, you're just "trusting" it's working.

As you continue to mine further and further, you also unlock the upgrade to grow your mine out vertically while also noticing you can grow horizontally. How far you grow vertically will do little more than reduce travel time for your moose to get their stored resources to the cart to be put onto the other cart that gets you the upgrade currency. If you grow horizontally too quickly, you'll find your resource efficiency goes down as you now need to spend twice the currency upgrading the multiplicative processing / storing / generating upgrades for little actual gain, as after ~10 minutes of playing you'll learn quickly it's hard to bottleneck yourself.

After 250,000 resources gathered, you unlock "wandcrafting", which is the final step of your production line where you combine the gems you're mining with the wood your harvesting to create the final product that makes big cash. You create your moose wizards to create them and that's your final, finished product. That's it. That's the whole game. From here, all you're doing is mining deeper, wider, and "number-go-up", but nothing changes. Nothing gets more difficult, complicated, or rewarding. There's nothing else to see. After you've made your first 1,000,000 or so gems, you can pat yourself on the back and say you've beaten this game.

There are free idlers with more depth and complexity than this which is a shame considering how much they're charging for this. If the game were cheaper or had more content, I'd be willing to change my recommendation here to a more positive one, but this is really a 2 hour long game that turns into a sandbox hoping you don't notice or become wise to it.

I can appreciate anyone who says they've enjoyed the game, but I was left wanting far, far more than what I got.

Launch had some issues. Like a lot of games. Like a lot of AAA games. But the dev was quick to respond. Hotfixes dropping as fast as the issues were reported. This is the type of dev we need people. So cut him some slack and complaining about "lack of depth" is pure ignorance. We can all see more is to come and at $8 (cost of a Starbucks) I've already got my money's worth. We should be supporting this guy instead of nitpicking. He gave us exactly what he said he would. Sure there were some hiccups but he responded quickly and professionally. Take notice devs this is what you should strive to be. Great job and a fun idle game. 10/10 will support this dev in the future.

Pretty fun game. Would very much like a way to demolish or delete upgrades for optimization purposes, and a way to combine storage points with the fences instead of only having one that's protected from spillover.
