Just to say something kind : I love this game and I'm happy the devs ares still working on it. And i'm not playing with a lot of mods, and yes, I bought the special edition because I think they deserved it.

You know what ? If this game is still alive, maybe it is because the devs are still working on it, maybe taking a long time to create a game makes it living longer. I take pleasure to leave and come back to SE to see what's new. And I can see the work's done fine (like the new dedicated server, its really a pleasure ^^). Of course new implementations creates bugs, and sometime they need to optimize it (if you need a good exemple of implementation without optimization, just have a look at the penal French code ^^).

This game still has so much possibilities, I hope it'll still be in development in 5 or 10 years or more. To me, it's still a baby and I would love to see it raise.

Please, continue working.

@Goofy Goober
There is no limitation to the engine, check this bit of text by Marek:
Q: Has your game engine VRAGE reached its limits and it’s no longer possible to optimize or extend Space Engineers?
A: No. Our game engine is an open system, we are constantly upgrading it, optimizing, changing the architecture, doing principal changes, changing the core inner workings. It’s not a static unmodifiable system. It’s a living organism. We have plans for even more fundamental changes for future installations of our games.
One spoiler: events and calculations should be asynchronous by default, allowing a physical reality where one slowly calculating event doesn’t halt the rest. This idea is basically about granularity of entities and calculations and is similar to actor-model paradigm. We already have parallelization and event-driven parts around the place, but there’s always room for improvement.

Very fun game, hope you maybe make a new engine and make a Space Engineers 2 instead of trying to reach the limitations of this engine.Has far more potential if you just spent a year or two reworking the entire thing.

What ever happen to the minerwars mmo i paid money for and then suddenly went away?

maybe, just maybe, the engine being used by Space Engineers currently is reaching its limitations. Like you said, it is over 8 years old at this point. With any luck, they'll be able to do a space engineers to with a redesigned engine that can be optimized much better and hold a lot more content.

Like aesthetic Furniture. Honest to God that is all I want.

Oh by the way, I have defended these lazy f*cks for the whole EIGHT year Dev of this game. It is only recently that I have lost my sh*t about it. Its because I see the amazing potential of this game utterly squandered.

Release. In October 2010, the pre-alpha version of Miner Wars 2081 was released to the public, with a free demo version and discounted pre-order version. Miner Wars 2081 is available for Microsoft Windows, and was later released on Xbox Live Arcade

EIGHT f*cking years...

Nemethon: They finished it. I've played it start to finish several times without a single bug. So, no. No to whatever you said. And I brought up the deluc edition because its shilling. HOW the ♥♥♥♥ do you have a Delux edition of an unfinished product? Stop defending laziness. Or do what you want, eat your♥♥♥♥♥♥sandwich and love it.

XEN said "subnautica. It came out well after SE and it is *Finished*"

No, they just said it's done. But it is full of bugs and for some unplayable. A game, full of bugs, is not finished in my view.

You spoiled everything with this multiplayer mode.
