lol @Satarel, it was an awesome thing, now it is kind of annoying, on multiple occasions i have been matching the velocity of my fighter when i dock at my ship, i make the ship move, hop out, only to find i am still matching the velocity of my fighter, wich is registering at 0, and go flying into the back wall of my bridge, in survival, it wasnt pretty.

recently I went off while flying and was like WTF! I can repair my ship without stoping.

This has been an important part of my clang-recovery toolbox. Why doesn't it work on enemy ships? Any time I try to use it on an enemy, it always reverts back to ON after a second. If anything, I'd rather have it switch to OFF. It's not like that Minelayer is maneuvering quickly.

was this always a thing or was it a recent update?

I don't know/understand why people are hating on the devs for these. I think it's fun and creative to post these even though it's clear we can find them among the loading screen tips or in the game settings. It just reminds us the devs or the admins of the game creation are still active with the community and it's nice, even if it's a small tip most of us know get a little notification every once and a while about a space engineer announcement. The small things like this are fun :).

Also PS: Stop♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥on them about it taking so long to come out of early access. They have lives to >:(. It's difficult to make a sandbox game with realistic physics. Let alone in ♥♥♥♥ing space with different planets, asteroids, and a mining system. Let's just appreciate the fact that they decided to push forward and come out of early access and deliver a few Official servers as well. Alright Ima dip I'm done ranting here about the haters.

TO conclude myself. I like the tips thing

Yes. Water that flows and fills gaps, etc is a whole different story. That is just a sort of simple cheat of water system. An illusion of water.

@Hryllingur not actually true, they never specifically stated that they can't implement water. From what I know, they just stated that getting water with physics would be too resource intensive. The water mod, is just a global plane with buoyancy and drag. You can make it in unity quite easily.

this is actually the first useful one.

That´s a REALLY good one!

Of all the "did you know" news posts (and, to be fair, I haven't actually watched any of the related videos), this one is the most informative to me.
