Known Performance Issue: Low FPS in Missions Post-Tutorial

ATTN: Weavers,

We are still investigating a performance issue causing some players to experience extremely low framerates, often around 5-9 FPS, in missions after completing the tutorial.

The issue appears to be caused by our multithreading settings not working correctly with some high-core-count CPUs.

If you are experiencing this issue, congratulations on your high-end CPU. Unfortunately, RIFTSTORM currently appears to be intimidated by it.

While we work on a permanent fix, please use the following workaround:

Open Options
Select Settings
Change Thread Count to 2

This should substantially improve performance for affected players.

We apologize for the disruption and will share another update once a permanent fix is ready.

So I can't get all old rewards from playtest, beta, etc. that can be able to obtain before early access anymore right ? Kinda hate the fomo, but game looks interesting

New RIFTSTORM Demo Out Now

ATTN: Weavers,

We’ve just rolled out a new update to the RIFTSTORM demo build.

This latest demo update features three playable missions, updated graphics, and a new HQ setting that better reflects the tone, structure, and atmosphere we are building toward for Early Access.

The new HQ space is an important part of how we want RIFTSTORM to feel between deployments: less like a menu, and more like a larger than life secret underground base in a midst of a containment breach with a built-in guide in the form of our enigmatic PAAM.

As always, this demo is still a work-in-progress snapshot of the full RIFSTORM experience. All content, weapon and enemy balance is subject to change and evolution as we continue to develop the game.

Demo refuses to launch (FIXED)

I played your demo a couple years ago and it worked just fine. Don't know what happened in the past two years of development but whatever happened has borked the demo you just released. (EDIT: moved the installation to my SSD and it works perfectly fine now. Weird.)...
