Season 0 is for everyone.

The Alpha testers who showed up early, when we were just starting our journey. The Lodestar Program players (our long-time playtest group) who stayed for the long haul. The Closed Beta participants who filed reports and told us what was working and what wasn't. And, of course, the players who will be in the queue on May 26, joining a community that already helped make this a better game. You're the reason HEAT got here, and Season 0 is how we say thank you.

How Season 0 works

Five Battle Passes, five tanks - Season 0 runs for five weeks from May 26 through to the end of June. Every Monday brings a new free Battle Pass with its own reward track, and a tank as the headline reward.
New rewards every Monday at 09:00 UTC - The current week's Battle Pass ends and the next one begins.
How to complete the Battle Pass - Fight battles, complete weekly missions, and earn Intel. Each Battle Pass has 10 tiers, all free. Spend Intel to unlock them.

What's in a Battle Pass

Each weekly Battle Pass has 10 tiers, and the tank is one of the first rewards. It's the centerpiece, not a finish-line climb. Reach Tier 3 and the tank is yours. The remaining tiers fill out the track with rewards that will help you once you're playing: Credits to unlock new vehicles, Tech to upgrade your modules, paints and camos to personalize your tanks, and XP and Tech boosters to supercharge your progress.

The first Battle Pass goes live on May 26, but we won't unveil the tank just yet. You'll meet it on launch day.

The in-game store

When the game goes live, so does the in-game Store. This is where you'll find various cosmetics: from simple color variations to full-on 3D skins. There will also be boosters that speed up your progression and earnings. Boosters don't change what happens in battle; they get you to the rewards you want sooner.

The Store is also where you'll find the other 12 tanks from our launch lineup, all available for Credits (our free currency).

Wednesday, May 27, 16:00 UTC

The day after launch, the team is going live. The launch stream kicks off HEAT's weekly Wednesday cadence: official streams every Wednesday with live updates, highlights, and a place to bring your questions.

On the launch stream, we'll cover how Season 0 is playing out, walk through the weekly Battle Pass cycle, and talk about how the game has evolved through testing. We've been listening through every testing phase, and on the launch stream we'll show you how your feedback has improved the game you're playing now. We'll also take your questions about what comes next.

From Week 2 on, Wednesdays are HEAT's regular stream day. Twitch Drops will also be running for all creators alongside Season 0. More details on the Drops are coming soon.

Cinematic trailer almost ruined it for me

Why are the tanks zooming around and hitting 360 noscopes in that trailer. There was even a tank drifting (which I'm you guys know is impossible). Thankfully I watched the gameplay trailer, and it looks semi-grounded and realistic. Might pick it up when it releases....

HEAT Is Heading to TwitchCon Europe

We have an update: HEAT will be at TwitchCon Europe in Rotterdam on May 30–31.

During the event, members of the HEAT team will be on-site to meet players, content creators, and everyone curious about the game, so come by, say hi, talk tanks, grab some cool merch, ask your questions, and try the game hands-on at dedicated HEAT gaming stations. We're also teaming up with content creators who will be streaming live from the event. This way even if you can't make it to Rotterdam in person, you'll still be able to follow the action through creator streams, updates from our official channels, and on-site coverage.

More details about participating content creators and stream schedules will be shared soon. Follow our social media channels to stay updated and make sure you don't miss what's coming.

We can't wait to get HEAT in front of players and hear from the community. Events like TwitchCon give us a chance to connect beyond screens, hear your thoughts directly, and share the energy of the game with you in person.

HEAT Launches May 26

It's official: HEAT releases on May 26, 2026.

We've been working toward this moment for a long time, and today, we can finally share the date. HEAT will be free-to-play on PC (Steam and Wargaming Game Center), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam Deck, and GeForce NOW, with full cross-play from day one.

What you are getting

Eight Agents - Each Agent brings a distinct set of skills and a defined battlefield role. Three roles (Defender, Assault, Marksman) cover everything from frontline anchoring to long-range precision. Every Agent commands their own lineup of vehicles, and each vehicle can be customized through modules and equipment.
Fifteen tanks - The launch roster includes 15 vehicles spread across the Agent lineup, each built for a different playstyle. Modules and equipment let you tune each tank to match how you want to fight.
Eight maps - Real-world locations reimagined through HEAT's alternate-history setting. Each map is built around a monumental structure that defines the landscape and the fight around it.
Four PvP modes + Versus AI - Hardpoint, Control, Kill Confirmed, and Conquest through Quick Match. Versus AI gives you a low-pressure space to experiment with loadouts, try new Agents, and find what works before taking it into PvP.
Full cross-play - Available on Steam, Wargaming Game Center, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam Deck, and GeForce NOW. Link your Wargaming.net ID and play on any platform, any time.
Fair competition - No "win buttons." The battlefield throws everyone into equal conditions, and the best thinkers walk away on top. Fight, learn, adapt, and you'll find what works for you.

How we got here

HEAT got here through two Alphas, the Lodestar Program, and a Closed Beta, with thousands of you testing builds, filing reports, and telling us exactly what worked and what didn't. Every phase built on the one before it, and every round of feedback made the game sharper.

The Lodestar Program brought together a dedicated group who committed to shaping the game over the long haul. That work isn't finished, and the LSP will keep going after launch, and there'll be more chances to get involved.

Ult jumpscare

hello, I was thinking, when you use your ult and the character selfie jumpscare happens couldn't that just be a small window instead? a window in the middle of the screen or in a corner having your character take up the whole screen for a second is a bit weird but the game looks fun, keep it up...

So, it's launching for real now?

I mean, with permament progression and all that? Also, isn't start of a summer kinda low point in gaming activity these days? Studies and then everyone being on summer holidays. Date just surprises me as end of a summer, autumn seems like an optimal time to launch it. Start early before crowded holiday season....
