Here is the full changelog of everything new in the Alpha v1.0 release:

• Added Ride Pet ("F") function with secondary interact-highlight support — interact or ride, and interact while riding

• Added banking system fully implemented via bankers at bank stalls in villages, with saving/loading support

• Added camera zoom controls (+ / -) live in-game

• Added save/load support for cave size and cave world objects

• Added controller hints in the bottom-right showing the correct input for any action available on hover (inventory items or the live lasso)

• Added Twin Stick Aiming setting — aim in movement direction or twin-stick style, independent of keyboard or controller

• Added aim assist to the gamepad cursor

• Added pet ride control rebinding

• Added capture XP bonuses across the Wildapedia — capturing 3 and 10 of a pet type grants XP bonuses, with tracking text in the Wildapedia and notifications (bonus XP excluded from pets themselves)

• Added infinite XP bonus support and boss slay counting

• Added new Wildapedia entries for Windrill and Fungaloids, including manual entries for "purified" and "destroyed" states

• Added Scorpion and Moa to the game (full spritesheets completed)

• Added new BuildPunk automated Unity build pipeline for Windows/Mac plus Steam uploader

• Tame minigame rebalanced: harder overall, but escape speed slowed (later adjusted to scale off time instead of framerate, with a faster escape rate)

• Adjusted ability cooldown scaling, sell price scaling, and enemy health scaling

• Limited Arena Tokens to 1 per arena

• Adjusted player and pet XP requirements per level — players need more, pets need less

• Reworked main quest names and dialogue to cut unnecessary wizard back-and-forth

• Clarified "wisdom spore" dialogue

• Fixed collect quests involving pet holders to properly require the correct pet type

• Improved POI dialogue generator to correctly filter the current POI

• Added item/POI/merchant-type highlighting, with typing transitions accounting for color tags

• Reworked tutorial sequencing to prevent running out of lassoes and added infinite lassoes during the tutorial

• Fixed skip-tutorial button and overworld popup issues

• Fixed tutorial sequencing bugs, including fungal piglet wall-clipping and a lag spike after the tutorial

• Defaulted gamepad cursor to skip-tutorial lines for better controller UX

• Added regen-vulnerable flag so the tutorial's fungal piglet regenerates if killed instead of requiring taming

Combat & Enemies

• Fixed enemy charge attack via a lock state during the charge

• Fixed jump behavior for enemies with multiple colliders (entity shadow collider swapper)

• Fixed smashable boulders not smashing (in progress)

Pets & Taming

• Fixed dismounting pet on player death

• Added logic for jumping off ledges while mounted, and while carrying a pet

• Added hearts when feeding pets

• Fixed a lasso bug affecting mountains

• Fixed lasso breaking / duplicating when splitting items mid-lasso

• Fixed evolve-pet logic to update the item pet holder and show a popup

• Fixed tortoise loading in incorrectly as a turtle

• Added pet health, damage, and XP display to the pet holder on hover

Inventory & Items

• Fixed upgrade duplication bug and armor slot stacking bug

• Fixed keys visually appearing as lassoes

• Fixed duplication glitch from Anvil to main inventory via splitting

• Fixed spam-clicking (right/left) on the same item causing deletion

• Fixed chest-to-inventory split deleting items incorrectly, including a case where placing on another inventory item deleted it

• Fixed items incorrectly swapping into pet/armor slots

• Fixed full-inventory shift-click from chest breaking the chest and deleting non-moved items

• Fixed duping bandits in ruins

• Fixed item stacking with controllers and added item splitting with controllers (RT)

• Fixed anvil dupe bug when pulling an input item and swapping with the output item

• Fixed anvil upgrades not saving, and anvil outputs deleting unexpectedly

• Fixed upgrade bench closing after opening, and added an upgrade guide

World & Generation

• Fixed mountain generator bug causing cave pockets without stairs; fixed pathways up through mountain levels 2 and 3

• Fixed small cave generation issues and reduced extra doors/exits/perma-boss spawns in small caves

• Adjusted world object spawn rate for caves

• Added land cel layering so the first layer adjacent to the starting area excludes desert, and tied POI difficulty weighting (Very Hard, +1/+2/+3) to those same layers

• Prevented mini-POIs from spawning on POI colliders

UI & Misc

• Fixed game-breaking boss health bar bug

• Fixed arena crowd stuttering

• Fixed music overlapping

• Fixed walk particles to play correctly per-step and align to tiles, hooked into dynamic footsteps to reduce calls and keep them synced

• Fixed an achievement bug

A brand new dynamic mountain generation system has been added.

• Mountains now generate with layered elevated terrain and traversable paths.

• Added mountain stairways and cave entrances that always provide a valid route to the summit.

• Players can now jump down mountain ledges.

• Added mountain-specific chests, encounters, merchants, and secrets.

• Peakgoats and powerful mountain bosses can now appear on mountaintops.
