You can exploit these to completely flip most fights to your favor.

0.a) Monsters have a finite combat
radius.

They'll chase and fight you until they reach that radius.
It's about 20-40m (in game terms), or roughly 2x your full sight diameter.
If you make them chase you that far, they will go tranquil
