I know what it is, its some issue with windows 11 and Nvidia, but I don't know how to fix it cause with Crusader Kinds 3. Paradox rolled out a fix for it so.. They fixed it there not me.

Wait, you actually complained about the game performance before even trying to lower the graphic settings or checking the minimum requirements? Then it was no wonder you had so many issues. Obviously higher settings require more VRAM.

I mean from videos and pictures I thought I would have no problem playing it lol. Used to be you knew from the graphics if you can play a game or not...I guess not anymore.

Lets be honest, Unreal Engine is full of bloated sh!t in it. I still think the DLSS direction is dogsquat and doesn't deliver quality and creates ghosting, you need to have a 5090RTX to make the damn thing work... Wont be until 5 years from now till that engine and the horrendous direction tech has taken these last 5+ years is finally working properly.

At that much power, like the 5090, might as well still run on an older direction with no DLSS and just have super-scaled resolutions to 8k and upwards. lol. For that much computing power the new tech is just re-doing what we already had for so many years. You go and play some games from 2015 and they have better clarity and fidelity.

I don't think this is necessarily the devs fault, but the engines used and again the direction of the tech.

So yeah, the fact the screenshots fooled you sounds about right, because behind all that "AmAzInG tEcH" is an engine that needs x5 the power of old GPUs to run remotely as crisp as the old games.

Is what it is... Unfortunately don't expect this to change soon, if anything its going to get worse. Especially the jump to RTX cards, using an architecture that supports this bs more. So even older RTX cards should be enough to get you through the next few years at a low price.

Its the game, lot of players have the issue, even with latest drivers so ya ... rebooting game after 2//3 games seems the way but thats so annoying

It looks pretty bad compared to the other options. There is a lot of fog in this game and the way objects smear when moving in a foggy area looks terrible and the fog by itself creates these big ugly artifacts.

Is Wilds just utilizing it poorly or what's the deal here? I am on DLSS v310.3 via DLSS Swapper, running at 4K.

I mean wilds has updated to use the latest dlss tech, including fsr3 so you shouldn't need dlss swapper anymore. Tho i would use something like lossless scaling for 5 box usd and disabls dlss and just whatever lossless scaling gives you, its much better and it doesn't smear texture or reduce resolution. As far as i understand the lossless scaling app implementation of dlss and framegen is way better than how most dev implements it, cause it doesn't reduce resolution, it just take your windowed game resolution and it upscale that, which result in not losing any resolution when in fullscreen or borderless fullscreen.

It was the best 5$ i invested into my gaming experience tbh. Everytime i buy i a new game that uses upscaling i add it to lossless scaling.

Also the framegen it gives has nearly no latency. At x2 you get not even 1 ms of additionnal latency.

lossless is worse frametime than tensor accelerated DLSS, if you can override through nv control panel there is no reason to use it with nvidia cards or amd 9000 with fsr4
