It's always amazing to realize how many new players there are who never experienced things with they were initially released.

Guys, they *used* to have different AI, they'd hide and attack from a distance. The problem was, there was basically no counter-play- you'd be minding your own business, not an enemy in sight, then suddenly explode, or be ragdolled to hell and back, similar to how Impalers initially worked.

Like, I agree, there should be something more to them than their current, almost completely harmless state, but I think it should be a happy medium between that, and their old "Stealth mass AoO death" state they used to have.

The thing is. I’m not saying it should be exactly as it was before it got turned into a metal brick. Just that it’s kinda ♥♥♥♥ rn. Once In a lifetime, it’ll fire from long range. But the majority of the time. It gets up to melee distance and just stares at you. Barely ever firing. I just want it to actually function as an artillery tank. Cause all it does now is try to run you over.

That's not a bug - citizens want different things on different mountains :) Just open the house UI and see what can be found in the "unsatisfied needs" section on the right.

This way every mountain plays differently :)

Hard difficult is a joke. Suspects have aim bot through the walls. Very realistic. In this difficult low class ganstas become elite troops hahahaha. So realistic!

That's why there's now difficulty options for people that want it. Standard is more realistic, hard is literally hard and as someone said earlier, it's really close to 1.0 AI to a point that it just feels like they brought it back as an option for long time players who wanted it.
