Because I made it explicitly clear what I'm talking about and Lu2 STILL got the wrong idea. Like the other dude sperging about how I "assumed" it worked like Sekiro when I made no such statement. He even doubled down on it (which is why I'm not responding to him anymore)

I can't see whatever link you posted, i'm assuming video as it has sound, but no key is not the intended solution but we're not going to stop you if that's what you've done.

Check steam cloud, otherwise no. A lot of people have been experiencing the same problem, they either start again or don't bother.

ive had that occur numerous times where I get hit before the animation plays but successfully unsheathed Cursed Sword.

It's a commonly experienced issue. The crux of it is that attacks need to collide with Suncatcher directly in order to be parried. It has nothing to do with startup frames, which the sheathing/unsheathing actions lack. Sheathing/unsheathing have parry frames straight from the beginning with no startup. You get hit because the attack goes over or around Suncatcher.

This is proven in datamined information on page 1, which at least one user has ignored in favor of sperging aggressively (for some reason?)

Update, I got it to 5/5 weapons complete but it still failed the mission for me. Above I built an extra assembler so it gave me the goal of 6 (5/6) but I deleted one and it went back down to 5/5

What do you mean by "assembler"? An extra war-canoe wharf?

you can make them yourself everytime.
put away every armor from your companions or clan-members and give them a 2h axe.

but dont expect them to be very effective on a battlefield.

For the record guys, this post was just a joke. I'm simply bad at the game, I haven't played Battlefield since BF3, and any other FPS games I play, mostly Warhammer Darktide, are cooperative. Nice to know others are struggling to though lol.
