Been really enjoying Total Conflict: Resistance, but I wanted to share some thoughts and suggestions that could help improve realism, immersion, and tactical depth especially for players who love games like Arma.

🔻 Vehicle Crew & Hitboxes

You can’t shoot drivers or crew through windows, even with a clear view. I tried taking out a ZSU truck driver , the glass splinters, but nothing happens.

It feels like the crew are just part of the vehicle hitbox, not separate entities.
→ Suggestion: Make vehicle crew vulnerable to small arms fire in exposed vehicles (like jeeps, trucks, and open hatches), allowing us to disable and capture vehicles tactically.

Infantry hitboxes feel inconsistent at times.

Rockets sometimes pass through vehicles at longer ranges without any hit registering.

🔻 Weapon Animations

Aiming, recoil, and reload animations feel stiff and disconnected from actual weapon firing.

Reloads especially look placeholder-level.
→ Suggestion: Improve animation quality and syncing. Smooth, weighty animations go a long way toward immersion.

🔻 Western Anti-Tank Weapons — Needed Variety

Currently the only AT options are RPG-style. For tactical depth and realism, it would be great to see Western launchers like:

AT4 – Disposable anti-tank launcher.

M47 Dragon – Wire-guided system used from the 1970s–2000s.

Javelin – Fire-and-forget guided missile.

TOW – Tube-launched wire-guided system.

FFV Carl Gustaf – Multi-role recoilless rifle with various ammo types.

Adding these would allow for asymmetric warfare and give factions more identity and realism.

🔻 Vehicles Should Match Real-Life Counterparts

Vehicles in the game feel simplified — they lack proper ammo variety and role differentiation.
→ Suggestion: Make vehicles more like their real-life equivalents. For example:

Add different ammo types (HE, HEAT, APFSDS, smoke, etc.).

Separate crew compartments and damage models.

Allow ammo reloading from supply trucks or crates.

This would bring the experience closer to Arma-style combined arms gameplay, which many of us would love.

🔻 Entrenchments and Defenses

Would be great to have buildable defenses like foxholes, sandbags, and fortified positions — especially in cities or key locations.
→ AI should also be able to use and defend from these positions dynamically.

I know it’s still Early Access, and I really respect what’s been built so far. The core gameplay is solid , these are just ideas to help bring the game to the next level in terms of realism and tactical gameplay.
