here's my theory:

bv was just a dream Michael had. the trauma of being subjected to his dad's experiments led him to have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up dreams where he would take out that pent up anger on a made up brother in a situation where Michael was finally the one in control, like his dad was in reality. The bite killing BV as a result of Michael's actions symbolizes Michael getting scooped symbolizes Michael getting killed by Ennard as a result of William's directions and inventions, and the line "I will put you back together" symbolizes Michael literally retaking control of his body and becoming whole again after Ennard jumps ship.
