Dev, I had a similar issue the other day, where just randomly about half of my mod folders were deleted from the steamapps content folder. I had to unsub and resub to the ones that were red, then enable them obviously. Was able to load my save after that.

This game after all these years is still broken and suffers from all types of issues, I dont think adding new animations is going to help anything but make it crash and lag out more often

There's literally 25 days before the game is removed. So saying there won't be a discount is a bit jumping the gun.

Heat is calculated separately for each map "chunk." Last I knew, a chunk was about 16 game blocks (16x16), haven't checked to see if that's changed recently. If you're in dm/debug mode you can see the heat rising as you do stuff - then you could move some distance into a new chunk and that chunk will be at 0 heat until you do stuff within it.

You could make a base that overlaps two chunks and place some workstations in one chunk and the others in the other chunk, spreading out the heat load a bit that way, so you could run a campfire and a forget at the same time, briefly.

But it's not really that effcient and wouldn't help THAT much re: having workstations going for any length of time - so what the others already said are better solutions. eg, lots of spikes around base or separate workstation bases if you want, etc. :)

The code only gives you a chance to get access to the Aug 7th beta. All other betas are open betas lmao. Aug 7th beta is for people who signed up for Battlefield Labs before July 31st, and people with the codes from watching the streams on July 31st for 60 minutes.
