Just to note; Sea of Thieves had a significant lack of PvE content until much later down the line only starting at Shrouded Spoils in 2019, well over a year later. Before that, its only PvE content was random events, and voyages (which was the 'lure' to ambush in PvP)

Can't find a single Match via Automatch.

I think it also only looks for people who are in the same Room as you are...which is the dumbest thing ever. No wonder Starcraft / Warcraft MP are much more popular; forgot how garbage the MP System in DoW is.

They generate \ get your Steam API key when they get access to your account.
If you don't have a generated API key there, you don't have to generate a new one.

The most common way scammers get access to the account is when users login into 3rd party sites with their username, password and guard into the fake auth page. As mentioned in the guide, if you login into official Steam (Valve U.S. protocol) site first, then any site that asks for your Steam username, passwrod or guard code \ auth is a phishing page (but make sure you don't have any untrusted browser extensions enabled when logging into Steam).

However, API key itself is harmless and it only can help at checking your trade offers, scammers can't move your items through it, but can see any your deals. Yet still it's better to revoke it and generate a new one later if you need.

And yes, scammers have a lot of compromised accounts this way, and sometimes they might contact you since months (usually pretending being a Steam Support Agent) just because they scam another victim and sooner or later will come to you while their bot is authorized into your account and has control over it.

But if you're informed well you won't fall for that.
