And again, Valve cannot force or provide incentive for devs to use tools they do not wish to use. A big part of the dev lure here to Steam is the tools that Steam provides and the freedom in which devs have to use them, or not.

A support ticket will not solve any issue, nor will informing devs of what their update can do.

Maybe it could like Yomi Hustle were custom characters are only selectable if all the players have it downloaded. So if a character is too unbalanced then just don't download it.

I noticed that if you take a plant and then, without releasing it, cancel using the tool with the right mouse button, the icon next to the mouse showing the use of the tool will remain until the player picks up the tool again and drops the plant. I'm not sure if this problem exists with other similar tools.
