This common argument, which I believe is still ingrained in many people's minds, that homosexual behaviour is a recent phenomenon, was the basis for my admittedly very pointed comment.

Wow. What an insult was my first thought. I retracted my initial response though.

Something I belief in, is telling me you're wrong on so many points. You're not superior towards others. People have their own strength and weakness. We all have very different views. I'm an atheist who believes in God. That's my own personal belief.

I think we all have our own grow experiences, which should be about being our better selves and stop trying to put people in boxes. Yet you made it reversed and try to put people in boxes anyway. People love who they love. They find their partner by trials. Some are straight, some aren't and some don't mind gender. They fall in love with the soul, not the body. Some just don't want a partner.

Listen, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it’s time to face reality: Guild Wars 2 is dying. And no, not in the “every MMO is dying if you squint” way. I mean full-on MMO hospice care. The servers are basically on life support, the playerbase is in single digits, and the devs are probably playing other games in their free time because they know the end is near.

Every time I log in, I see the same five people. They’re all in Lion’s Arch, jumping in place, wearing the same fashion skins they’ve had for the past seven years, desperately pretending they’re part of a thriving community. You can practically smell the copium radiating off the screen. Try finding a group in LFG for anything other than Dragon’s Stand—good luck, you’ll be staring at that empty panel longer than the story cutscenes.

And don’t even get me started on the maps. They feel like ghost towns now. You’ll wander through an entire meta event area and maybe, maybe, see one other player—probably AFK, swinging at a training golem or stuck in combat with a single pocket raptor they can’t kill. The truth is, the game has fewer people playing than a Facebook farm simulator from 2011. At this point, Map Chat is basically a private group chat for the same handful of lifers clinging to the wreckage.

Sure, defenders will claim “The game’s doing fine!” but these are the same people who think a population spike during a festival means the MMO is thriving year-round. No, Karen, it just means the same dozen diehards all logged in at the same time to collect their free chair skin. This isn’t a renaissance—it’s a family reunion in an empty stadium.

The writing’s on the wall, folks. Guild Wars 2 is fading into the sunset, and soon it’ll be a nostalgic footnote in MMO history. Might as well start practicing your “Remember GW2?” stories now—because in a couple of years, that’s all you’ll have left

Man this is so wrong. This game has tons of potential. I am very glad to invest 30 bucks on its continued development.
