movement speed is the slowest in the series, sliding has been there for ages now.

Quick-paced is purely dependant on the maps and big ones are coming. Think about it for one second.

I don't think Clair Obscur Expediton 33 was inspired by this game specifically since the dev said that it's inspired by Japanese RPGs that shaped their youth such as the Final Fantasy and Persona series. But it's not impossible since they looked at decade old games with some more modern one. Also this game was in early access one year before the development of EXP33. Sure there might be some similar ideas but the core gameplay isn't.
