So, either online or solo when I select the mission it crashes the game. When I did it on solo It freezes the game but after a minute it recovers, but... after 2 mins of gameplay the game proceeds to crash and die. I want to like this game but this is unplayable, and I need a fix.

That model creates a simplified game with lots of feedback and very little depth. A game with a niche market could be supported with a subscription or community donation, something.

I think what needs to be fixed is find a way to make any game financially viable while not being something that has mass appeal, something niche. But giving enough return on investment (time + capital) to make it worth containing. Not just here but any game.

There is a sea of games on steam with the forums littered with posts in the Us Vs Them factionalism war. This leads nowhere. Granted there are jewels out there with much less faction posts.

Its interesting to note, at one time "before steam style platforms" game were released once. (IE Pacman etc) or released with just QoL updates and its longevity was driven by MODS. Quake was the first real example. I wrote a few mods for it back in the day in QuakeC.

I am just lazy about it and blame things like "kickstarter" starts off making long term promises acting as if the user is now an investor and creates seeds for this "relationship" to eventually go off the rails.

So my question, what is everyone opinion on how a game should be funded, promoted and should any promises be made about its production? So users be treated as investors? and should they expect some sort of return?

Mentioned that in another post. TFP is probably seeing the end of the track on original sales coming down the tunnel. Alot of game at that stage try DLC content, but for that to work, they need to be in good graces with the players. If TFP are thinking about it, they need to get the players on board, which isnt happening.

Sure they have some supporters that like the current game, pretty sure they have no where near enough to make a go of it. They tried one DLC before finishing the game, and keep trying to sell merch.

They need the players to make that work.

Also recently, I noticed that in closets at police stations, you can no longer find almost any police equipment, although previously you could always find a lot of equipment there. Now there seems to be only one place where you can find 100% police equipment, this is the same C2 sector in prison.

The problem only appears if you have mixed types of powerresources

This definitely seems strange... How can one grow with out confrontation? How does one understand beauty with out the contrast of foulness. These forums are highly curated already just me I've been banned for highly mild things in the past.

But there is a book called "thanks for the feedback" it mentions some times the best advice is packaged in the worse boxes and while we should all do our best to be better communicators I think actively hiding the posts of others is harmful to your future potential.
