Wylder
  • Art Gauge Greatly Filled When Ability Is Activated
    It's 20% when you use cheat death. 20% extra when you're starting to lose could probably clutch some moments; especially in solo. But it's otherwise not worth much.
  • Follow-up attacks possible when using Character Skill (Greatsword Only)
    The attack itself hits a bit harder and has a bit more stagger. You can go a lot further with the attack, and it tends to duck under a lot of enemy attacks too. It's overall good.
  • +1 Additional Character Skill Use
    Extremely good. You can force a one bar revive, or prevent a higher bar revive from dropping if you stagger your shots. It's great for mobility, it's great for staggering certain enemies, and it's great for getting out of a bad spot.
  • Art activation spreads fire in area
    It's a pretty decent damage buff to the ult, so I always take it.
Guardian
  • Increased duration for Character Skill
    A sidegrade. Smaller mobs will be trapped and held hostage for longer. It can also prevent poise from going down on bosses. But, you'll actually lose the ability to force a stagger on certain enemies. EG: Crucible Knights.
  • Creates Whirlwind when Charging Halberd Attacks
    Sure, it helps your halberd heavy attacks. Should you be doing Halberd heavy attacks, though? Wouldn't you rather be guard countering, or pulling out a different weapon once you lose aggro?
  • Slowly Restores Nearby Allies' HP while Art is Active
    It's a side-grade. A full heal to your teammates can stop their next down a bit earlier. It's nice for healing yourself too. It requires actually holding your ult though.
  • Reflect a Portion of Damage Received when Ability is Activated
    Helps with aggro, revives, poise damage, forced staggers... pretty much everything except that damage thing it's talking about. Easily his best and most important relic passive.
Ironeye
  • Extends Duration of Weak Point
    If your team doesn't pop the mark in 17 seconds, I doubt they'll pop it in 20. Not worth it IMO.
  • Boosts Thrusting Counterattacks after Executing Art
    Thrusting Counterattacks is a damage boost piercing weapons get when you thunk an enemy during their attack. Bows proc it, and in this case it's an additional 20%. Thrusting Counterattacks can be picky, so I'm not sure it's actually worth a lot.
  • +1 additional Character Skill use
    Mark is probably the best skill in the game. Now you have two uses of it.
  • Art Charge Activation Adds Poison Effect
    Unless you have some kind of synergy in mind... nah.
Duchess
  • Improved Character Skill Attack Power
    60% instead of 50%. Nothing to turn down, but nothing to froth over.
  • Dagger Chain Attack Reprises Event upon Enemies
    It's kind of a side grade. it works better for overall damage and procc'ing more status'. Also lets you save your skill for bigger hits. It'll mess with your status procs though, and requires actually using chain light attacks on a dagger over spamming ashes or spellcasting.
  • Defeating Enemies while Art is Active ups Attack Power
    The damage buff is actually insane on this, so it can be used to cheese some bosses by mobbing before them. Outside of that specific use case, it's not worth much.
  • Becomes Difficult to Spot and Silenced Footsteps after Landing Critical from Behind
    Barring the Libra fight (and maybe even then), this isn't helpful anywhere you'd actually need it.
Raider
  • Damage Taken while using Character Skill Improves Attack Power and Stamina
    You sort of want to get hit when using your character skill, so this is just a free damage and stamina boost. You might as well, right?
  • Duration of Ultimate Art Extended
    I'll say the buffs outlast the totem a bit already, so it's not as large of a buff as you'd think. But otherwise I honestly don't have an opinion on this one.
  • Defeating Enemies Near Totem Stela Restores HP
    Healing is fine, but you'll never get to use this when you actually need it.
  • Improved Poise Near Totem Stela
    Too much poise can get you killed, and if you're using your character skill you've already got super armor. I don't see the point.
Revenant
  • Power up while Fighting alongside Family
    Gives a buff depending on the family member you have out. It's... fine. You can use Sebastian in the backline to simply be chonkier, or pop your ult with Frederick for some extra damage.
  • Trigger Ghostflame Explosion during Ultimate Art Activation
    This does about the same damage as an uncharged Wylder ult, and can force staggers on weaker enemies. You don't need it, but it's good.
  • Expend own HP to Fully Heal Nearby Allies when Activating Art
    At best, you heal someone who took zero advantage of your ultimate pop. At worst, it doesn't do anything. I don't think it's worth much.
  • Strengthens family and allies when Ultimate Art is Activated
    This is a 25% damage buff. Yes, it's good.
Recluse
  • Collecting Affinity Residue Activates Terra Magica
    Free 20% damage boost for magic based spells. Take it.
  • Suffer Blood Loss and Increase Attack Power upon Art Activation
    Your ultimate heals you, so the downside shouldn't really matter. Free extra damage. Take it.
  • Activating Ultimate Art Raises Max HP
    People don't like this one, but I do. The HP buff enables you to do incredibly stupid riskier and more rewarding plays, with less risk. I think it's worth it.
Executor
  • While Character Skill is Active, unlocking use of Cursed Sword Restores HP
    Cursed sword isn't very good in the first place, and neither is this heal. Especially since you can already full heal on your ult.
  • Roaring restores HP while Art is active
    It can be used to heal teammates. You heal to full when you pop your ult (and if you get staggered from damage it won't save you), so it's not much help for yourself.
  • Character Skill Boosts Attack but Attacking Drains HP
    The damage doesn't really hurt, but it can mess with your passives. The damage buff also doesn't really help, so it's fairly 'whatever'.
