that would be shader compilation, it's actually a good thing

except that CPU and GPU load percentage drops down to nothing as well during those seconds it does 5 FPS ...i don't think it is doing anything at all.

There were more tricks you could do with the weapons and perks matched together. You could set up a Grad that could do a 200,000 damage headshot through a wall early on.

Forgive me, he is the Lead Game Design dev who acknowledged the spread issue firsthand, big difference.

So he was the person that communicated with the community that the spread at Epoch launch was not intended. That does not mean he has any actual managing function within the balance team. If it was Shams that said it, people would ♥♥♥♥ on him, if it was Pilestedt everyone would be clapping furiously because he's the one that advocated for the 60-day patch.
