Yes, I know at some point, autobuyers can be set to basically just time. I'm at a point now where prestige doesn't mess up anything, so I can just set that to trigger like once a second.
That's not the point. The point is that there will always be something that needs fiddling with actively.
You could just set everything to low numbers and higher time between buys, but that is seriously inefficient, and as soon as you get one more unlock, something throws a wrench in that strategy and you need to rejig everything anyway.

I see now that the way most of you seem to deal with it is to not deal with it at all and just live with either micro-management or sub-optimal setups. That's fine, if that is how you enjoy the game. I would enjoy it more if we had things like mathematical formulas in the autobuyer text fields, or access to them in macros together with more variables. Like how powerful would it be to have potential IP on top of already "bought" IP, so you can make decision trees based on what you're getting instead of what you got?
Heh, yeah. I'd have loved it if I was able to base my auto-infinity on something like dlog(x)/dx<N so that you could auto-optimize that sort of stuff automatically.

Ultimately, the game just... isn't that advanced for that sort of thing. And as much as some of the math formula ideas could be nice quality of life features, it likely never will happen. Macros felt like a somewhat rushed feature as is, and even though they're sufficient for what you need them for after a point, they still are so lackluster and can't do a great majority of what we would hope they could do.

Yeah, you can choose to play it a little suboptimally so that you can play it mostly hands-free, or you can sit there and micromanage every aspect of the game in order to speed-clear it. It's up to you how you choose to play it, and luckily this game has the means to benefit both types of players... with one notable exception. Heh...

Maybe try learning some of the keybinds? I know most of them probably wouldn't help in the long-run, but maybe it might give some comfort if you can super-rush things by pressing keybinds. Even though I don't feel like that'd do much at all.
Are there any keybinds beyond those listed in the options menu? If it's just those, it's not gonna help my purposes a whole bunch.

Hopefully the devs see my suggestions and have a think about maybe at least implement the Macro bit of it. I don't mind if it's hidden behind later achievements, or even require credits or something, but it would take this game 100x further if those were implemented.
