first off: spend your souls.

the second you hit 800 souls you have to spend it. you can save up for more expensive items later in the game after you have a couple to get you through the "laning phase"
prioritize some form of health regen if your character doesnt have some innate form of healing.

second off: get more souls. people with more souls than you WILL beat you in a 1v1 unless you are mechanically sound at the game. and even after you are mechanically sound at the game, you will still lose a 1v1 if the soul differential is large enough.

learn how you can suppliment your soul earning when your lane isnt safe or when you are ahead enough to where you have downtime (dont want the enemy team to catch up in souls)

You can change the POV. making it batter. i want it too!

I use a DirectX controller setup. In game it shows the Xbox buttons. Everything works, but there is one issue.

When I am in the "Settings" menu, on the bottom right it says "RB" to go back out of it. I press it, the game shows an animation of that RB symbol and plays a sound... but nothing happens.
I have to add the yellow "Y" button also shows an animation when I press RB.

So in order to get out of that Menu, I have to hit ESC.

Getting out using the RB from deeper menus like the "Graphic" menu or the "Mappings" menu does work with RB it is just that initial menu that is supposed to lead back to the main menu where you can start a run that isn't working.

I play this game with my sister who doesn't really grief and we've done 2 playthroughs and its been a blast to play with another person

Fr, the game naturally curates a crowd of full time incels that feel the need to find their control fix meddling in the entertainment of others. Its just tiring, socially repulsive and incelibate behavior that has no place governing the fun of others. Thanks squad for now making me stoop to the low of hosting soon because of the scads of scum running this gongshow now I can only expect to see accountability from myself. janny ♥♥♥♥

Very interesting. The 16XX is pretty the same exact die as the 2060 without the RT cores (or disabled?).
Be more interested to see if any hacks will run it on the much drastically more primitive dies of the super goat 1080Ti & Titan XP star wars editions.

No, it's a different die. NVidia added ray tracing and tensor cores (AI/DLSS) to the RTX 2000 series. The result was the die sizes got a lot larger than the GTX 1000 series and a "60" card went from $250 for a 6GB GTX 1060 (or $200 for a 3GB model) to $350 for a 6GB RTX 2060. That was the cheapest RTX 2000 card they made and the most expensive "60" card to this day that wasn't a "Ti" or "Super" model. So NV stripped out the ray tracing and AI/Tensor core hardware to make cheaper models and marketed them as the GTX 1600 cards. They're both "Turing" designs, but GTX 1600 is missing some parts. Also RTX 2000 launched first.

Guessing this will not be a popular opinion:

Build 1 main base near the Hammer in the center of the map. Somewhere along the north side of the island.

It is a 2-3 minute drive to the Sheol, Rift and area to farm aluminum. So 6 min round trip.

I had bases for all 3. You need to be able to process the ores. Which require water, power, at least 3 medium ore refiners.

If you do not process them there you end up spending the same or longer time transporting the ore back to be processed.

Maintaining those bases takes time. Gathering bodies, blood, supplying filters, etc

I ended up saving time and solari just operating out of 1 base.

My time saved was the result of having to just keep 1 base running and supplied with water to process mats. Which you do not always need the water to process all the mats, just 1 or 2 for that day or over a few days.

One major time saver was building 1 large ore refiner. Instead of using 3 medium ore refiners. Takes longer to process, even with quicker individual refine times. Since you can not spread the ore over multiple refiners, It does however give me a bit over 1k aluminum ingots for 1 load full of MK5 buggy storage. With the medium I was getting around 600ish. Maybe a bit less.

Even with just the 3 medium refiners it ended up being more efficient for me than the multiple bases.

Guess it also depends on how you play, how much mats you process weekly.

For me I am soloing 95% of the time and maintain the base, and previously my 3 bases, on my own. I also can burn through over 1m water on a day I can log on frequently.

I totally get how frustrating it is to be stuck with a solo player who is throwing the game. The reason that feature was removed, however, is because it was one of the most heavily abused mechanics when it existed. Toxic 4-stacks would constantly bully the solo player and then kick them for no valid reason—sometimes for a single mistake, or even worse, on the final round of a match they were about to win, just to be cruel. Valve removed the option to protect the huge population of solo queue players from that constant, targeted harassment. It's a "lesser of two evils" situation, but it was changed to prevent a much more common and toxic problem.
