I finally witnessed that vote, which I'm pretty sure is not what the Harkonnen had used (as it was accross several council things).

Here it was as Atreides vs smugglers.
Their base was (properly) not self-repairing, then the vote passed and I voted against and it passed for me instead, yet it's their base that self-repaired. So I thought, maybe it's in the wording, because it says "main baseS" (which only one faction has), so I thought it was everyone's bases. So I reloaded a save and this time the vote acted properly.

I also don't even understand how I could still vote against, as a Pariah (the bomb), am I not supposed to be banned from voting?

They want character traits to matter. As such, they want the major systems in place first, so the traits can use those systems.

The psyche system, released just last week, is one of them. They have plans on having custom traits that will modify the psyche system in various ways.

So first, they need to finish tweaking the psyche system, get the bugs worked out of it, and then we may see work toward character creation.

So the thief and Sorcerer both had pure white weapons in the first level. I though this might go away so I advanced to chapter 2 and upgraded their weapons. Upgraded or not their weapons in chapter 2 are no longer white but instead have are an odd red colour.

Has anyone else had this and does anyone have any fixes?

Neat, though a little too direct with the game mechanics for my taste.
I would sugest to shorten some lines from 'Iton and ateam and brine' to 'Iron, steam and brine'. That is how the brinehunters sing it in game, and it has a better flow because Iron is spoken like two syllables.

I may also try to write a version, though mine may focus more on the whole submarine part.

Okay I did some searching online.

One thing I found said to go in the AMD adrenaline and set Radeon Anti-Lag to enabled. This by itself didn't hep me but I left it on.

The thing that worked for me required changing setting in my BIOS

This had 2 steps

Step 1: You have to have "Above 4G Decoding" set to enabled (It already was for me)

Step 2: You have to set "Re-size BAR" to auto or enabled (it was disabled for me so I set it to auto, the only other option in my BIOS)

Where you find these setting and what you have to do to get in to your BIOS will depend on your BIOS/Motherboard. My BIOS was organized differently then the one belonging to the persons who's post I saw so I had to search for a bit.
