What's libertad doing in Ranked?

Short answer: It's a tier 10 battleship that some players like to play. So it's in Ranked when Ranked is T10.

I would counter that it's not that hard to citadel though. It takes damage easily and dishes out damage really well. Long range accurate guns such as Yamato will excel at countering it.

You say Libertad isn't fun to play against and isn't fun to play - except to get wins. Getting wins IS the point and IS fun. I like Libertad myself, but it probably isn't my favorite for Ranked. I'd give it a try though. I think it would be better than Schlief myself. Schlief is outstanding at Brawl (small brawls where you can always angle near perfectly), Ops, Coop and anywhere where a shot from Yamato doesn't knock off half of it's health in a blink. I'd still try it in Ranked for a ribbon count mission though :)

no. time and time again it has shown that

--a criminal system aimed at rehabilitation is cheaper, and more effective to lower crimerates than one thats aimed at deterant/revenge/punishment

and that a higher punishment for a crime or misdemeneor does nothing to lower the time this is done, and even tends to increase the crimerate
(if I am damned anyway I might as wel... /law that feel unreasonable harsh are rebelled against)

instead a very mild low punishment (the proverbial slap on the wrist.. paired with an 100% chance to get it is much more effective

thus to fight crime you need to increase the catchrate.. not the punishment heavyness..
and to lower the overall crimerate you must rehabiltiate not deter.

time and time again thats the policy that proves to delivers the most safe society for the lowest burden to the taxpayer.

Rehabilitation doesn't work for all types of crime, especially the really violent ones.

It may work for drug offenses or whatever but it's still the same thing. You get caught with illegal drugs, you are forced, with force to go to rehab. If you dont, you are forced to go to jail.
