I started playing this game when they ran the first Bloodmoon.
In the middle of the event they ran a patch. My videocard was above minimal requirements. Barely, but still above. After this patch the game wouldn't load anymore.

I had fun running killers around in chases.
But I was forced to take a break from DbD.

I get new hardware.
I come back after a little over a year.

I play for a less than a month.
The amount of survs that don't give a single damn has skyrocketed. If I got 1-2 good matches out 5, matches that left me feeling that we or I did good, a year ago - I now get 1 out of 10. If[\b] I am lucky.
Then developers rolled out a patch, that:
- Made one of the killers imposibble to outchase.
- Forced them to killswitch a map, but for some reason they still haven't killswitched Streetwise or Clown.

2 days before patch I started getting packet loss in every chase. And only in chases.
I couldn't run any killer for longer than 10 seconds, I would get rubber banded into walls or just straight up into killers. It only happened with DbD as often as it did. Every other multiplayer game ran fine.

Don't know what "harsh things" people say about these devs - I only can say what I got so far:
Immense amount of promise, followed shortly by equally immense amount of roadblocks.

Why exactly do you not have a pen? How exactly do the ducks have access to it in the first place?

did you verify integrity of game files it wasnt mentioned here?

another thing you can do is go into the game steam userdata folder on your pc and find 21970 and then go into local and remote and delete all your autosave and .rusesav files
sometimes mods break the vanilla game if they are uninstalled but a save or autosave file was created

I will try this I have never tried it, I did not see any .rusesav files but I went ahead and deleted all of the files and will just reinstall them just in case. maybe it will work

Regarding the dual monitor issue: you're absolutely right. Currently, screen capture only works on the primary monitor. But no worries, we’re already working on full multi-monitor support and will include it in an upcoming update.

Either you buy anything from the Mann Co Store in-game (a key, a Tour of Duty Ticket or Backpack Expander are fine), or if you don't want to pay money to talk, it should be possible to attach a phone number to your account and enable Steam Mobile Authenticator to be able to talk for free. Both may require you to wait until the restriction is lifted.
