Did you update your drivers to the latest version?, one error i had was because of that.

No handicaps (dislike the flat 30% damage/defense)
Custom AI difficulty. (Harder than brutal)
Custom AI - All ascended characters.. some custom made to be much stronger than usual with extra traits and such.
Eldritch realm - sometimes
New fated realms thing
Dormant seals - sometimes.


While I put 9 AI in, with the custom difficulty I usually don't need to face nine of them. They usually take a few of each other out. Especially if chosen destroyers are on the map.

is your monitor capable of more then 60 hertz? Did you make sure that refresh rate of your monitor in display setting is set to highest possible? The only way you can get more then 60 fps is by using V-sync and monitor capable of displaying more then 60 hertz per second

That's the community's fault that they only ever play Upward and Badwater. KOTH is by far the gamemode that sees the most variety because rounds are so short, and this update's maps are very weighted towards KOTH. At the very least, Boardwalk is a good map to me. Pressure is also quite good IMO.
I only said that they are fine because they aren't ALL good (which is also a huge thing to ask, because you can't appeal to everyone with everything. Case in point, every payload map immediately sucks in my eyes unless proven otherwise). Calling the update a flop is a bit hyperbole though IMO, at least from only looking at the maps, because I don't really care about cosmetics. I've seen worse, like the update that added Bloodwater and Hassle Castle.

No way you are saying that playing a good map is community's fault. Not all community plays just these two maps, most people i know play all maps -ctf for faster queue times. The thing we should blame is matchmaking which has these badwater upward and 2fort over all other maps

I'm saying that overplaying good maps is the community's fault. That's the worst part too. Upward and Badwater are objectively good maps, so I look crazy when I speak up against them. Honestly, I can't tell how many players queue for which maps, but I can tell what they vote for. I crashed out once on Phoenix, when the map vote showed Badwater, and the hive mind's neurons activated immediately. Hence why I'm so frustrated about these two maps specifically, to the point that I'm burnt out on Payload as a whole (minus a few maps).

Yes, this is, in fact, a very personal issue. I've gone insane because of Upward and Badwater.

First time playing playing this game, really enjoying it. Playing on hard and I just about cleared Immaculate Redemption in the Khait Nebula - the place where you attempt to free that one girl's father from the Redeemer's ritual. Coming into the zone from the "North", you encounter a puzzle of sorts involving the ancient runes. It requires two, and it seems pretty simple. However, I'm pretty sure the puzzle is bugged - it's taken both runes, but there's only one on the pedestals. I've saved and reloaded to try and see if the runes might respawn, but nope.

It's my guess that this happened because I was able to find the first rune when I loaded into the zone pretty easy and placed it on a pedestal, but couldn't find the second one and decided to clear the rest of the zone before coming back to the puzzle. During that clear I had a death or two, which would have reloaded the zone. After coming back to the puzzle I found the second rune and went to place it, but overshot my trajectory by a bit and ran into the pedestal that had a rune already faceted, and it accepted it. So for the purposes of this puzzle I'm effectively left with 1 rune (already faceted) in this zone and two pedestals, making this impossible to complete. Am I boned out of completion forever?
