I'd recommend plugging in a controller and doing it solo. Here's what I did:

I didn't have a dedicated controller, so I hosted the game on my Mac and used that as Player 1, and then I connected my Steam Deck to my Mac via Remote Play and used it as Player 2. I would do all the attacking on my keyboard and mouse and use my Deck to move the second character so I could progress. I did both achievements on the first dungeon (spider boss one). I had already beaten the game by this point, so I was way over-levelled.

For the revive achievement, I moved John onto some spikes and had Lucy nearby so I could revive John when he died.

Honestly I like the combat way more in the remake than the original, to me its always felt kinda clunky

Donkeys as a walk alongside pack animal or with a cart would have made way better sense than what we have. Only if you were a baby, old as dirt or injured would you ride a donkey, they's all about the heavy weights they can carry. I mean, have you ever ridden one? OMG they are just not fun at all, but indeed hysterical with your feet nearly dragging and that tiny little bouncy trot. Frankly they'd much rather have a nice quiet couple hundred pounds of cabbage well distributed on their tiny little backs than some petulant human pounding on their kidneys whacking them with a stick. #donkeysmattertoo# ya know.

We're you riding a baby donkey or are your legs super long? Because a normal size donkey your legs wouldnt be near the ground.

This is great news! Love the game and would love to see it expanded or a new game in the same universe. Just a thought, but how about after cruising off from this game you set up your own private ship breaking business out on the fringe? ;)

OR just make one of the ltms permanent like 2 v 8 or sum though i will not say no to new content.
